| 抄録(英) | In the case when archaeological structures may not be level built in the ground a more general way other than horizontally slicing a 3-D radargram dataset is required to properly image these cultural remains. Horizon slicing, whereby a 3-D surface is used to slice a radar dataset can effectively show the location, depth and shape of buried targets. Horizon slicing is applied in a study to image possible pit dwellings buried below an ancient living surface having variable subsurface topography. Software used to create the horizon slices is also employed to develop a complete 'film' of radar reflections within the ground, by showing the progressive horizontal slices that comprise the solid cube of reflection information for the surveyed site. |
