Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We have developed a parametric algorithm for deriving the shape of targets in subsurface radar data based on the Discrete Fitting Method, and have confirmed its performance via numerical simulations. Here we report the results of analyzing the data taken at a test site with an iron seeker radar. The targets are an aluminum cylinder and a plate whose dimension is close to the radar wavelength. Results of data analyses are compared to those of numerical simulations focusing on problems peculiar to real data, and a few improvements for stabilizing the algorithm are presented.
