Abstract(in English) As a part of the "Deep-Seated Geothermal Resources Survey" project being undertaken by the New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO), the "Multi-Frequency Array Induction Logging (MAIL)" tool is being developed to get the resistivity structure accurately around a wellbore. The MAIL tool is an induction logging tool composed of five array induction magnetometers (vertical components) and a vertical multi-frequency transmitter coil. This paper shows the 1D forward/inverse modeling based on a cylindrical model along well and the results of model studies.
