| Abstract(in English) | ETS-VI was launched on August 28th, 1994 from Tanegashima Space Center. However, the satellite cannot be put into geostationary orbit, because of the apogee engine failure. ETS-VI is now in an elliptical orbit. Even in this bad orbital condition, there are many experimental item which can be done using ETS-VI. CRL had developed three communication payload, each uses S-band, millimeter wave band radio wave and laser. Using these equipment, the communication experiments started on Dec.16,1994. In this paper, the preliminary results of the S-band/millimeter-wave band communication experiments are presented. |
