Abstract(in English) | Main mission objectives of the Engineering Test Satellite-N(ETS-N) scheduled to be launched around 2002 are experiments of the fundamental technology for S-band mobile communication, broadcasting system and on-orbit atomic clock. It is also planned GPS overlay experiment for the future positioning satellite system by Japan. GDOP improvement is studied for 3 cases of the longtitude of geosynchronous satellite. It resulted that in case of the visibility angle is 5 degree, there is no GDOP improvement. But in case of the visible angle is around l0 to 20 degree, there is some GDOP improvement. So it is expected that the GDOP improvement is effective in urban area. |
