Future Prospect of Air Navigation and Air Traffic Management

Abstract(in English) This paper describes the present status of technical development of FANS CNS system and the concept of free flight. For future air traffic management, new ATC supporting systems which have advanced technologies and algorithms should be developed in order to assist the air trafic conttollers. And also,the design of these systems should be based on a human-centered-automation with sophisticated man-machine interface. Information of the present communication channel should be classified and quantified into two categories,i.e,material information and instruction one. The ATN system should be developed considering these classification and quiantification.
