| Abstract(in English) | Combined use of navigation and mobile communication is essential to the construction of mobile communication network, and especially satellite navigation and communication are necessary services for the globalization of mobile activities. Mobile communication systems under development using many LEO satellites will actualize global mobile information networks using NAVSTAR GPS now in full operation at the same time. However, integrated satellite systems which supply both navigation and mobile communication services at the same time will realize the reduction of the maintenance cost of space segments and the user equipment cost. Moreover, the precise clock synchronization, which is performed by using bi-directional communication between users and ground radio stations, will develop the powerful navigation method which enables the reduction of tie number of satellites to be deployed and the improvement of positioning performance in the limited field of view, and also the mobile communication technology which realizes efficient message communications. |
