Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper a OFDM/CDMA (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing / Code Division Multiple Access) or OFDM/FDMA (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing/Frequency Division Multiple Access) are applied to some part of the broadcasting signal bandwidth, described as BST (Band Segmented Transmission) scheme. The OFDM/CDMA or OFDM/FDMA signal will be assigned for a desired user in each case. On the other hand, the OFDM signal will be exploited, called as SFN (Single Frequency Network), by whole user within the coverage cell. We will assume that the service area can be modeled as hexagonal shape. All transmitter are using equal transmitter powers. For this study, we will evaluate the capacity of hybrid system which is applied by the OFDM/CDMA signal or the OFDM/FDMA signal. The capacity of the both approaches will be shown in the system capacity section. From this result, we can see that the high data rate can be achieved in the down-link broadcasting systems.
