Microwave transmitting experiments about concrete to penetrate steel rods and/or voids reinforcement

Abstract(in English) As the microwave transmitting characteristics about concrete to penetrate rods and/or voids buried in reinforcement, power losses and antenna directivities with 1GHz bow-tie antennas are estimated in basic experiments. Power losses of 1.7~1.8 dB/cm in the range from 600MHz to 1.5GHz and the antenna directivitiy of 35 degree with 0.8 ns narrow beam are obtained. And unneglecting leakage couplings along reinforcement walls are formed on the adjacent receive antenna in the case of weak aquisition signals.
