Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) As a part of the "Deep-Seated Geothermal Resources Survey" project being undertaken by the New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO), the "Multi-Frequency Array Induction Logging (MML)" tool is being developed to get the resistivity structure accurately around a wellbore. The MAIL tool is an induction logging tool composed of seven array induction magnetometers (five vertical components and two horizontal components) and a vertical multi-frequency transmitter coil. On 1995, MAIL tool was tested using the DSGR exploration well. At that time, we found the electro magnetic coupling problem of array induction sensors. Because of array sensor unit was set between transmitter coil (Tx) and electronics part, Tx signal line pass near array sensors. So, array sensor part was moved to under electronics on 1996, and modified MAIL toll was tested using DSGR well on February 1997.
