| 抄録(和) | 1997年3月26日(Ms=6.3)および 5月13日(Ms=6.2)に発生した鹿児島県北西部地震について央震から約40kmに雛れた地点で観測された ULF磁場データの解析を行い, 地震関連 ULF電磁気現象の特徴をスペクトル解析等で調査した. その結果, 周波数0.01Hzにおいて地震の2週間前から鉛直成分と水平成分の比 Z/Hの値が大ぎくなり, 約1週間継続し, その値が小さくなり, 地震が発生している. その後の余震活動や 5月13日(Ms=6.2)に関連するULF活動がその後のデータに出現していると推察される. |
| 抄録(英) | In order to investigate the ULF electromagnetic phenomena associated with the 1997 Kagoshima earthquake, spectral analysis have been performed. We pay a special attention to the variation of the horizontal and the vertical component (Z/H) to distinguish from the magnetic pulsation coming from the space. The results indicate that the ratio of Z/H was enhanced about two week before earthquake. This suggests that the Z/H analysis is very effective to detect the electromagnetic phenomena associated with earthquakes and that it is one of the useful method for the earthquake Prediction. |
