Characteristics Verification of a Large Deployable Antenna onboard Haruka

Abstract(in English) A deployable antenna mith a maximum diameter of 10m was studied and developed, and has been deployed in obit successfully. The antenna has distinct features from conventional deployable antennas from the view point of the constitution and size. As a solid propellant rocket is used for the launch, the vibration condition to the antenna is quite severe. This paper describes the methods to veify its characteristics concerning the above conditions and requiremeuts to a realizable extent.
