Visual Navigation Method for Lunar Module

Abstract(in English) In recent years. the moon have been expected as a base for supporting the human's space activities. For many missions, making a soft landing on the moon is very important. In order to land on the moon safely, the landing module need to be controled by detecting a flat area and estimating its altitude and pose in relation to the surface. This paper presents a image-based method for landing on the moon safely and experimental results for various lunar sufface images generated by computer graphics.
