Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Development of satellite-based navigation system is underway which will replace existing navigation systems such as NDB, VOR/DME, and ILS. Multi-functional Transport Satellite (MTSAT)-based Satellite Augmentation System (MSAS) is developed as satellite-based navigation system in Japan. Ground Monitor Station (GMS) and Monitor and Ranging Station (MRS) of MSAS will be installed. It is necessary to perform electromagnetic survey to decide the most appropriate location where GMS or MRS is installed.
