Abstract(in English) | This paper discusses global satellite constellations which are available to both satellite navigation and mobile communication, and which are able to maintain the satellite orbits and the precise clock references autonomously. The integration of navigation and telecommunication enables the precise clock synchronization between all radio stations, therefore realize the clock synchronous navigation which is powerful against obstacles to satellite visibility, and also creates the possibility of the clock synchronous communication which is efficient in mobile communications having a lot of radio gateways. Satellite constellations which use low earth orbits(LEO) of roughly 1,000km of altitude are not suitable to the integrated navigation and communication because the deployment of innumerable satellites needs a huge cost. Therefore, geosynchronous orbits (GEO) and medium earth orbits (MEO) of roughly 10,000km of altitude are suitable to global satellite constellations of the above unified mission. |
