Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) An inverse synthetic aperture radar (ISAR) algorithm for imaging objects in translational motion requires motion compensation as a preprocessing step. This paper proposes a new motion compensation method for ISAR imaging by using "shift process". This method uses the characteristic that the trajectories of target's scatter points are straight lines of same slope on the history of range profile and/or of short term doppler frequency. The reconstructed image of simple aircraft model is given to demonstrate the correctness and effectiveness of proposed method.
