Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The hardware design of the speech recognition system has recently been expected since it is possible to process with real and to reduce the calculation cost of the total system considerably. This report presents the outline of a system configuration to design the speech recognition system with LSI. The addition we realize the software system using two of the analysis methods, FFT cepstrum and LPC cepstrum. They are evaluated the recognition performance. FFT cepstrum method can be easily calculated, and it is realized with parallel processing. LPG cepstrum is the good analysis method since the characteristic of a vocal trac t is represented. A continuous distributions type Hidden Markov Model(HMM) is used for the recognition methode.
