Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper presents an improvment method of convergence of multi-access interference suppression algorithm for DS/CDMA communications over multipath channels. The MOE algorithm and the MSIR algorithm are used to update the coefficient of the digital filter which suppresses multi-access interference. However, the MOE algorithm which converges quickly has a fault that its convergence precision deteriorates in the situation which irterference is increased. Furthermore, the MSIR algorithm which converges optimum solution has a fault that it converges slowly. We propose an interference suppression algorithm using a variable step method, which changes the MOE algorithm to the MSIR algorithm due to reliability of the desired user's estimated signal.
