Abstract(in English) | In this paper, we propose a permutation transmission optical code-division multiple-access system with cyclic-shifted sequences(PT-OCDMA). In the proposed system, by cyclic-shifting an OOC with different shifts, each user is preassigned S sequences, and symbols are mapped permutations of M out of the preassigned S sequences. Each user transmits the M sequences in the order over a frame consisting M slots. In the receiver, the case that the number of the correlator outputs exceeding the threshold is either more than two or zero is defined as the erasure state. By the mapping of code sequences with permutation, this erasure state can be corrected up to ε out of the M sequences. We evaluate the bit error probability of the proposed system by the theoretical analysis. We show that the proposed system has better bit error probability performance compared to on-off keying(OOK)-OCDMA system, OOK-OCDMA system applying Reed-Solomon(RS) codes(RS/OOK-OCDMA) in large received laser power under a fixed bit rate and a maximum number of users(N_ |
