Home Network Technology using Wireless 1394 System

Abstract(in English) Home network is becoming a big theme, and IEEE1394 interface is getting popular for PCs or video equipment because of it's high speed and real-time transmission abilities. This paper presents Wireless 1394 system's concept, brief specifications and home network technologies studied and standardized in Multimedia Mobile Access Communication (MMAC) Promotion Council of Japan. These results may bring more conveniences to the coming home networks realization.
