Abstract(in English) This paper investigates the block error rate (BLER) pefrormance using site independent transmit power control (SIDTPC) method, which we formerly proposed, among dedicated physical channels (DPCHs) with various symbols rates for inter-cell site diversity in W-CDMA forward link. Actually, we compares the effect of SIDTPC method with SSDT (Site Selection Diversity Transmit power Control) and conventional TPC (CTPC) methods among DPCHs with the symbol rates of 30 ksps, 120 ksps, and 480 ksps used for the information bit rate of 12.2 kbps, 64kbps, and 384kbps, respectively. Computer simulation results show that the required total transmit power of cell site candidates using SIDTPC method can be decreased by approximately0.2(0.5)dB, 2.2(1.0)dB and 0.3(0.6)dB, 2.2(1.2)dB compared to that using CTPC and SSDT methods, respectively, for the maximum Doppler frequency of 5 (80) Hz when the ratio of traffic of voice service and that of high-rate data service is 3:1 and 6:1, respectively.
