Abstract(in English) In the ATM-PON(Passive Optical Network)system, many subscribers are connected to one subscriber interface with optical fibers and the splitter. It realizes fast and cost efficient communications. In the ATM-PON system, the limited bandwidth is shared by many subscribers, so the Dynamic Bandwidth Allocation function will be needed to subscribe more subscribers. The Dynamic Bandwidth Allocation is the method to allocate the bandwidth dynamically according to each subscriber's traffic conditions, and its algorithm is discussed in FSAN(Full Service Access Network)now. This paper gives considers the method to find the congestions in the ONTs by counting the valid cells from ONTs and reports the result of our experiments with our pototype.
