Abstract(in English) | Time Deviation (TDEV) measurement of clock phase noises (wander and jitter) is important for equipment in digital synchronization networks. Some equipments perform error-free demodulation by absorbing the phase noise. This report proposes a phase noise generator for testing such equipment. This generator uses filter banks and generates colored noise with a broadband spectrum over a frequency ratio of 10^7. It can generate phase noise with the same spectrum as clock noise in any digital synchronization network. |
