Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This manuscript discusses the application of an adaptive array antenna and an interference canceller to a base station of CDMA mobile communication systems. First, it is shown that the interference cancellation for the output of the adaptive array antenna dose not improve the performance in many cases, if the antenna and the canceller work independently. Then, the weight control scheme based on the output of the interference canceller is consider. In this case, the interference canceller achieves good performance for all direction of interfering signals. In addition, it is found that imperfect cancellation may have better SINR that perfect cancellation under a certain condition.
