Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Multiple-symbol differential detection of 16DAPSK is attractive in the field of mobile communication because of its good error rate performance. In this paper,we study multiple-symbol differential detection on 16 circular shaped signal constellation(CSSS)whose minimum distance is larger than that of 16DAPSK signal constellation.Their error rate performances over an AWGN channel are compared by computer simulation. As a result,we show that error rate is affected by both Euclid distance and phase difference on signal constellation, and comparatively good error rate performance is obtained on(7,9)CSSS.
