| Abstract(in English) | In evolving information society and Prevailing Integrated Services Digital Networks(ISDN),the vigorous efforts to construct Broadband-ISDN(B-ISDN)have being made worldwidely,which will provide multi-media communications services including video,voice, and data.From the viewpoint that Asynchroronus Transfer Mode (ATM) technologies will play an important role in B-ISDN,we survey these technologies,discuss new emerging multi-media communications services based on them,and describe their impacts on our society in this paper. |
