Abstract(in English) | Among ATM layer service categories, VBR(Variable Bit Rate), ABR(Available Bit Rate), and GFR(Guranteed Frame Rate) services can provide gauranteed MCR (Minimum Cell Rate). Though they can support MCR at ATM level, it is unclear whether they can support minimum throughput at TCP/IP level. Thus, we evaluate perfomance of ATM traffic controls (VBR, GFR, and ABR)from the viewpoint of TCP level throughput under various traffic conditions. |
