| Abstract(in English) | The evolution of the access network using optical fibers requires a new concept for the implementation of access networks as a common infrastructure for all types of user accesses to the service nodes. ITU-T SG13 produced a new Recommendation G.902(G.9xx) to provide a framework on architecture, function and management principles of access networks. This paper describes the outlines of the recommendation and proposes study issues on access network operation. |
