Pulse Radar Image Simulation with Ray-tracing Model for Underground Objection Detection

Abstract(in English) In urban cities especially, the present pulse radar systems are of no practical use for under ground cable detections caused of their complex soil circumstances.To improve the systems, a practical radar simulator which can generate precise synthetic-aperture pulse radar images in accordance with their under ground and measurement system models are necessary. This paper discusses effectivity and applicability of a developed simulator based on Ray-tracing and mirrorreflection model.The simulator was driven with a real input pulse wave which was measured by our pulse radar system and the simulated images were compared and discussed with the real measured images.
