Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) DONA (Distributed Object-Oriented Network Architecture) telecommunication service software platform achieves not only rapid development and deployment of telecommunication services but also high performance and reliable application software execution. Service-type repository is a DONA component that enables service users to retrieve and execute telecommunications services easily and supports operation execution by traders. This paper proposes a method for operating and managing distributed service-type repositories that satisfies the following three requirements : managing a large amount of service-type data, minimizing the effect of service-type repository failure and restoring them, and keeping the response time of service-type retrieval requests small.
