Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Currently, there is no useful computer environment to support people with visual impairment for access to the World Wide Web. This fact gives us the motivation to design a new WWW browser. In this pape, we present the specifications of our browser for people with visual impairment. This application is also desined for sighted users. This application enables users to navigate the WWW only by numeric keys. In addition, this user interface by numeric keys is also applied to access to forms of Web pages, to menu and to dialog boxes controls. This application has both keyboard and mouse input, and both synthetic speech and display output. Long-term experiments for evaluating our WWW browser will be carried out in near future once our system is completely implemented.
