Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper describes an approximate equations related to the shadowing percentage cumulative time and the elevation angle of mobile terminal. Also, it is shown that dual and triple-parallel operational geosynchronous communication satellites with a constant inclination angle provide greater receiving percentage cumulative time than a geostationary communication satellite. Furthermore, the relation between satellite cost and the number in orbits is described.
