Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The adaptive-gain alpha-beta tracker combined with circular prediction is proposed as a nonlinear prediction filter for maneuvering target tracking. For track-while-scan systems using phased array antenna, the reduction of prediction error is an very important issue. The purpose of this work is to accomplish adaptive-gain, optimal weighing between linear and circular prediction to get maneuver-following capability. Simulation results for various target profiles are included for a comparison of the performances of our proposed scheme with that of conventional trackers.
