Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A large antenna is one of the most essential technologies for the wireless power transmission. Especially, an antenna at a diameter of 1 km for the future Solar Power Satellite, which can supply electric power generated by large solar paddles to the ground, should be constructed with flexible structures and a phased array antenna. The technology has many applications, for example, for telecommunications. Phase control method and a new concept of the Solar Power Satellite are presented here.
