Electrical Performance Evaluation of the Satellite Multibeam Feed

Abstract(in English) Mobile communications of geostational Satellite using multibeam is currently being studied for future communication service, because effectively using frequency bands. Feed and reflector technology of antenna is indispensable to realize the multibeam communications. The cluster feed is one of such a feed. In this paper, we manufacture the components of the feed and test the electrical performance to develop the multibeam antenna. Moreover, electrical performance of the feed which constructed by these components is evaluated by the radiation pattern testing.
