Abstract(in English) | We have been developing a new type of an antenna for 3 years. The antenna is self deployable and its shape is polygonal. Before deployment, shape of the antenna is a polygonal column with φ500 millimeters in diameter and 1000 millimeters in height. When it completes deployment, it becomes a polygonal disk with φ2000 millimeters in diameter and 30 millimeters thickness. This time, we carried out a deployment test in water to compensate gravity, using a small plastic model whose density is about 1.00. The test demonstrated as follows ; 1.The model deployed completely. 2.Hydrodynamic pressure on segments can not be neglected. |
