A Consideration for Preliminary Tremor Period in Discrete Dynamical System

Abstract(in English) In the discrete dynamical system, it is well known that in case the initial value adopts the stationair solution including the infinitesimal error, the chaotic or periodic motion can be easily seen after the preliminary tremor period in the orbit. It is also suggested that the preliminary tremor period can be controlled by regulation of the quantities of the infinitesimal error. The logistic mapping has been selected as an example in this paper. The computer simulation has studied the relationship between the infinitesimal error added to the stationary solution and the preliminary tremor period. The preliminary tremor period can be denoted as an analytical approximate function of the system control parameter, the infinitesimal error and the threshold value for the stationary decision in the dynamical orbit. The error analysis between simulation and analytical solutions has been carried out. It is evident that the errors are not random and have the specific characteristics. Also a prediction method for preliminary tremor period has been shown using only the information on the way of the stationary situation. Utilizing the results of this paper may control the preliminary tremor period after when the chaotic or periodic motion will occur.
