Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Harmonic distortions of Anti-Series Varactor Pair (ASVP) diodes are analyzed using perturbation theory based on measured C-V characteristics of the varactor . The second- and third-order harmonic distortion cancellation conditions for ASVP are found and presented. C-V characteristics of the varactor is measured using 1MHz C Meter. Coefficients of the varactor are obtained by fitting the measured data. The second- and third-order harmonic distortion cancellation conditions of ASVP are calculated by utilizing the varactor coefficients and are compared with experimental results. The second- and third-order harmonic distortion cancellation conditions of ASVP are verified being exist and having a good agreement with the experiment. The ASVP shows remarkable suppression of the nonlinear distortion. In particular, we fined that the second-order harmonic distortion is reduced by approximately 20 dB from the level of SV regardless of the bias voltages while improvement of the third-order harmonic distortion is depend on the bias voltages.
