Abstract(in English) | Digital consumer equipment has needed analog and mixed signal LST technology. This paper describes technical breakthroughs in high speed, high precision, and low power consumption technologies for the analog and mixed signal LSIs, in particular for high speed ADCs with looking back on my developments. Interpolation method for A/D conversion is discussed deeply as an example of breakthrough. Next, CMOS image sensor and analog boundary scan technology are introduced as peripheral technologies. Ultra-high speed mixed signal LSI becomes vitally important for current digital network and digital storage technology. The circuit technology and EDA technology featured analog behavioral model for the ultra-high speed mixed signal LSI design are introduced. Last, Current issues, such as low voltage operation, high precision passive elements, and cost up due to the non-scalable part are studied. |
