Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Propagation of a spike train generated by periodic stimulus pulses on a nerve fiber is studied with computer simulation on the Hodgkin-Huxley model. When the excitability of a nerve fiber is reduced, the amplitude of spikes diminish and they disappear during propagation(the decremental conduction). It is shown that at high temperatures(in the state of low excitability),the period-doubling bifurcation of the propagation length of spikes and increase in the propagation length due to the super-normal period occur as the period of stimulus period is changed.
