Controlling Chaos In A Manifold Piecewise Linear System

Abstract(in English) This paper discusses controlling chaos in manifold piecewise linear system.The system dynamics is described by two 2- dimensional linear equtions connected by hysteresis switchings and we can derive one dimensional return map analytically.The map is strictly piecewise linear and expanding.We propose a simple chaos control method that stabilize one of many unstable periodic orbits(ab.UPO)in this system.The control method is based on the return map and is effective.Then we can overcome the following fundamental problems: 1)Rigorous proof of observable chaos generation,2)Calculation and search of UPO, 3)Precise and speedy stabilization of UPO,4)Simple implementation of the control method.
