Oscillatory Phemomon in Combustion Processes : From the view point of pattern dynamics in nonlinear nonequilibrium systems

Abstract(in English) We often observe variety of spatio-temporal pattern formations arising in nonlinear non-equilibrium systems in engineering.In my lecture,we study the spatio-temporal dynamics in combustion processes with fuel supply.Using the thermal-diffusive model which is one of the simplest model equations describing the processes,we mathematically consider the dependency of the dynamics on the shape of vessels and the magnitude of fuel supply.
