Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper proposes a higher dimensional ladder circuit coupled by diodes, and chaotic phenomena observed in the circuit is investigated. The circuit is basically the same as the modified van der Pol oscillator proposed by Shinriki et al. (basic part), but some additional circuits are coupled by diodes. In the proposed circuit, phenomena observed in the basic part is qualitatively same as those in Shinriki's circuit. In the additional ladder part, however, since chaotic signals from the basic part are excited by the random switching operation of the coupling diodes, more complicated signals can be observed. Experimental and numerical results can show the proposed circuit has attractors of different complexities ; such a circuit has never been reported.
