Controlling Chaos in Chaotic Neural Networks

Abstract(in English) We propose how to control chaos in chaotic neural networks. We show that chaos in simple chaotic neural networks, which was proposed by K. Aihara et al. , can be controlled in either global or nearest neighbor coupling. The controls are based on exponential control proposed by S. D. Gadre and V. S. Varma. The exponential control makes an orbit within the unstable periodic orbits to be stable, using a muiltiplicative exponential feedback on a parameter of the system. It is possible for the system to diverge when the feedback becomes too large using this method, and we can not select a target from some periodic points in a given time. We modify this method to limit feedback which will not diverge. And we change the feedback dependent on each selected target point. These modifications will enable us to control chaos even when the system is far away from the target point, and will enable us to select a target point in a given time.
