Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper proposes a novel Maniforld Piecewise Linear chaos generating system (ab.NMPL) and considers the following problems: 1. Controlling chaos, 2. Generation of islands. The chaotic system is a novel version of Manifold Piecewise Linear system (ab.MPL). Its dynamics is governed by a piecewise linear map with hysteresis. Note that stabilizing high-period orbits is hard for the old MPL but is easy for the NMPL because of the hysteresis effect in its return map. Islands is chaos whose support is union of divided subintervals in the domain of the return map. We have clarified interesting bifurcation phenomena for Islands in hysteresis return map.
