Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A four coupled neural oscillator model has been analyzed with reciprocal inhibition. The oscillatory activities have been investigated with different coupling coefficients and they have been compared with the gaits of quadrapeds and their transition. In the network composed of four identical oscillators, it has been found out that five oscillatory modes exist and only the mode transitions which make increase of oscillation frequency occur. A network composed of oscillators which have different intrinsic frequencies shows similar results. Two modes can be regarded as those corresponding to two gaits.
