Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A simple method to analyze the occurrence conditions of chaos in a higher order nonlinear system is studied. The basic idea for this analysis is that, if every equilibrium point becomes unstable and there exists an unstable limit surface surrounding them, then the solution trajectory may wander in the state space. This phenomenon may be chaos. The describing function method is applied for this analysis to predict the existence of chaos. The parameter regions for the occurrence of chaos for a nonlinear feedback system with several transfer functions are shown.
