Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The unbalance of rotary shaft is one of the causes of vibrations. In these Vibrations, there is a kind of whirling motion when the speed of the rotor exceeds the critical speed. In general, the rotors of large scale generators are well designed and examined to protect from destruction. However, any experimental results have not been considered to explain the output characteristics of the generator when the mechanical inputs include the whirling motion. In this paper, the characteristics of generator under the influence of rotor vibration is discussed based on the experimental results.
