Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | We demonstrate that synchronization between two chaotic lasers can take place when one laser is modulated by the other lasers output.Chaotic pulsation is induced in a CO_2 laser by introducing a saturable loss inside itscavity. The chaotic radiation from the master laser is injected into the absoeber medium of the slave laser, which results in the entrainment of the slave system into the modulation signal.Potential applicability of this synchronization in laser chaos is also discussed. |
