Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In a certain coupled, weekly-nonlinear oscillator system, we can analyze the system with the averaging method if the nonlinearity is small enough. However, as the nonlinearity becomes large, the result of the averaging method is no more correct, and the attractor presents complex bifurcations toward chaos. In this paper, we investigate various bifurcations toward chaos observed from a mutually coupled oscillators with a negative nonlinear conductance and a nonlinear reactance. In particular, we clarify the extinction mechanism of chaotic attractors due to collision of saddle type objects.
